Day 1: Brows will look very close to final result after healed, but 2-3 shades darker.

Day 2-7: Intense darkening. Not to worry; this is the normal scabbing process. Please do not pick off.

Day 8-11: Peeling and color fading. You may use a little ointment (i.e. Aquaphor) if it feels itchy. Only a tiny bit however; do not glop on as it will prevent your brows from healing properly.

Day 12-14: Color continues to fade, about 2 shades lighter.

8 Weeks Later: Please come in for your touch up / perfecting session. As scabbing comes off, it's possible that some areas are lighter than others.

Semi-permanent brow longevity depends on many variables including: age, lifestyle, skin type, and darkness at time of procedure. Younger skin turns over faster. Oily skin breaks through pigment. Even salt from sweat lightens your brows. Darker brows will last longer.

For oily skin and younger clients: Typically 6 months to 1 year of retention. Annual touch-ups are recommended.

For dry skin and mature clients: Typically 1-3 year turnover rate. Annual to bi-annual touch ups are recommended.

In general, microblading (semi-permanent brows) cannot be done on minors, immuno-compromised clients, diabetes patients, and clients with old tattoo that is still too dark. Microblading is a procedure that is done by a blade and not optimal for oily or mature skin clients.
